Brothers and Sisters,
The local presidents met today and voted unanimously to bring a tentative agreement to the membership for a ratification vote. Some of the highlights are:
-4 year contract
-4K signing bonus
- 4% raise for 2018 retroactive to Sept. 1
- 3.5% for 2019
- 3.5% for 2020
- 3% for 2021 (Total 14% raise)
We retained our active benefits packages with no premiums, an increase in the SPT calculation, retiree healthcare saw no plan changes or premium increases.
We will explain more in the coming meetings, summaries, and on the shop floor.
Make no mistake, this CEO wanted to break us like he got away with at Caterpillar. He did not and could not. It is because of all of you, the membership. Your solidarity, hard work, and sticking together is what got us to this point and gave us a strong bargaining position. Stand strong and stand together. - President Mark Lash.
